Job summary

Activate Interactive Singapore is seeking a Designer to support the Central Product Marketplace initiative within the Developer Productivity & Services department. The role focuses on usability research, UI/Workflow design, and thorough design handoff to developers, ensuring accessibility and consistency with design systems.

The fixed-term engagement spans 12 months, based in Punggol Digital District, Singapore, with opportunities to collaborate across product teams and stakeholders to deliver

Qualifications

• Practical knowledge of UI/UX design principles, tools (e.g. Figma), and end-to-end design workflows.
• Hands-on experience conducting usability testing and translating user research findings into design improvements.
• Proficiency in crafting wireframes, prototypes, and design specifications for handoff to development teams.
• Familiarity with established design systems and ability to contribute to shared component libraries.
• Experience designing for complex platforms with multiple user roles and large-scale information architecture.
• Proven track record of shipping live products across the full product lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Usability Testing & User Research: Plan and conduct regular usability testing sessions and user research activities in collaboration with the development team, synthesising findings into actionable insights to inform design decisions
• UI & Workflow Design: Craft and iterate on user interface designs and end-to-end workflows leveraging AI-assisted design tools, ensuring consistency with established design systems and accessibility standards
• Design Documentation & Handoff: Produce and maintain detailed design specifications, annotated wireframes, and prototypes to facilitate smooth handoff to developers and ensure alignment across stakeholders
• Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with internal project teams and product owners to gather requirements, present design concepts, and incorporate feedback within agreed review cycles
• Design System Maintenance: Review and update shared design components, style guides, and pattern libraries on a regular basis to ensure consistency across all product touchpoints
• Visual & Content Design: Support the creation of visual assets, presentation decks, and communication materials as needed to support team and departmental initiatives
