Job summary

Recruit Express Pte Ltd is seeking an experienced System Engineer/Administrator to manage a diverse server estate (Solaris, Linux, Windows) and deliver high-availability support for customers. You will participate in 24x7 on-call rotations and lead projects to ensure timely completion.

The role requires strong diagnostic skills, familiarity with ITSM processes, and experience with cloud, DevOps, and monitoring tools.

Qualifications

Minimum 5 years of experience managing web/application servers in Unix/Linux environments.
Experience with Solaris 11/10, RedHat Linux 6/7/8, Sun/Oracle hardware.
Willing to be on 24x7 standby for service contracts on a rotating basis.
Strong diagnostics and problem-resolution skills; able to troubleshoot quickly.

Responsibilities

Maintain, upgrade, and manage servers and storage across Solaris, Linux, Windows.
Provide system administration and security support to customers to ensure high satisfaction.
Support 24x7 service operations and lead projects to timely completion.
Escalate issues to vendors (Oracle, RedHat, Veritas) as needed.
Manage cloud infra and microservices using OpenShift and cloud technologies.
Support CI/CD pipelines and DevOps processes for reliable deployments.
Handle incident tickets and ITSM logging; coordinate with teams on resolutions.
