Qualifications

• Degree holder.
• 8+ years of underwriting experience in life and health insurance.
• Experience in managing new business operations or case management of high net worth business.
• Experience leading a team of underwriters.

Responsibilities

• Oversee life, health and investment linked underwriting operations to support administration and issuance.
• Perform risk assessments in line with regulatory guidelines.
• Collaborate with distribution to meet service delivery and production targets.
• Lead training and development for the underwriting team to ensure competency and quality service.
• Review appeals and post-claim underwriting; update guidelines as needed.
• Negotiate with reinsurers to keep guidelines competitive.
• Support new product launches with appropriate underwriting guidance.
• Deliver audit reviews and maintain control processes.
• Provide guidance to distribution channels and risk governance adherence.
• Drive operational efficiency and monitor budgets.
