Job summary

FWD Group in Singapore is seeking an experienced underwriting leader to drive risk assessment for life and health products and to build a high-performing underwriting team that delivers quality risk assessment and targets.

You will work closely with distribution to meet service levels and production goals, lead training for underwriters, review high net worth cases, and continuously refine guidelines to stay competitive while ensuring regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of underwriting experience in life and health insurance, with leadership of underwriters and preferably high net worth cases.
• Strong knowledge of life and health insurance products and regulatory requirements.
• Proven ability to lead, train and develop underwriting teams and processes.

Responsibilities

• Oversee life and health underwriting operations and new business workflows.
• Perform risk assessments to ensure compliance with internal and regulatory guidelines.
• Lead and mentor the underwriting team to deliver quality service and target production goals.
• Review appeals and manage post-underwriting decisions for high net worth cases.
• Develop and refresh underwriting guidelines to stay competitive and compliant.
