Job summary

Singapore Health Services Pte Ltd (SingHealth HQ) seeks an Assistant Director to support the Head of Department in driving service transformation and organisational excellence. You will lead end-to-end project delivery, engage diverse stakeholders, and contribute to strategic planning for impactful, sustainable change.

You will oversee horizon scanning of emerging technologies and care models, prepare leadership updates, and mentor junior staff within a dynamic public healthcare setting in

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree with at least 10 years of relevant working experience.
• A Master’s Degree (e.g., Master of Public Health) would be an advantage.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with ability to engage diverse stakeholders.
• Strategic thinker capable of navigating complex, ambiguous environments.
• Proven ability to lead projects end-to-end and deliver results under pressure.
• Collaborative team player across diverse teams and reporting lines.
• Demonstrated interest in coaching and developing junior staff.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning, initiation, execution, and monitoring of transformation projects.
• Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders for policy and operational alignment.
• Prepare updates for Core Leadership, CEO-CMB meetings, and senior management forums.
• Provide secretariat support for task forces and departmental meetings.
• Drive horizon scanning of technologies, care models, and trends.
• Develop communications materials and presentations to build engagement.
• Support strategic planning and Balanced Scorecard reviews.
• Supervise and mentor one direct report and support special projects.
