Job summary

Tan Tock Seng Hospital in Singapore is seeking a Senior Assistant Manager, Training & Quality Improvement to strengthen organisational capability in quality improvement, patient safety and continuous learning. You will work with clinical and operational teams to translate priorities into practical improvements that deliver meaningful outcomes.

The role involves designing training programmes, coaching QI projects, applying PDSA and FMEA, analysing data, and building dashboards.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of relevant experience in healthcare, quality improvement, patient safety, operations or training.
• Experience in facilitating quality improvement projects and/or conducting training and workshops.
• Knowledge of QI methodologies will be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Design and deliver training programmes, workshops and learning initiatives on quality improvement and patient safety.
• Facilitate and coach quality improvement projects across departments, identifying problems, analysing root causes and measuring outcomes.
• Apply improvement methodologies such as PDSA, FMEA and root cause analysis.
• Partner with Heads of Department and clinical leaders to identify opportunities to improve safety and quality.
• Analyse quality and performance data to identify trends and translate insights into recommendations.
• Develop and maintain training resources, QI toolkits and dashboards.
• Support culture-building activities like learning forums and QI showcases.
• Evaluate impact and sustainability of improvement initiatives and share best practices.
• Support clinical governance, audit and accreditation initiatives where required.
• Explore digitalisation, automation and AI to enhance quality monitoring and training.
