Job summary

Advanced Micro Devices, Inc. (AMD) seeks a Technical Lead for test engineering in Singapore. You will act as the test solutions expert, leading pre-silicon strategies, first silicon bring-up, and optimization of yield and performance distributions across global teams.

The role requires strong DFT/ATE expertise, hands-on leadership across an SoC lifecycle, and programming skills. You will partner with Design, Platform, and Quality teams to deliver production-ready test methodologies.

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience supporting complex SoC products (e.g., mobile or automotive processing units).
• Proven leadership across at least one full SoC product lifecycle (pre-silicon to production).
• Deep expertise in DFT and ATE test methodologies (ATPG, MBIST, Functional, and High-Speed IO).
• Experience with Advantest 93k or Teradyne test platforms is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Define and drive pre-silicon test and characterization strategies for complex SoC products.
• Establish DFT and pattern requirements and ensure test readiness prior to first silicon.
• Lead first silicon bring up, silicon debug, and characterization across PVT corners.
• Analyze yield and performance distributions; drive root-cause analysis and corrective actions across global teams.
• Drive test innovation and translate ideas into production-ready solutions.
