Job summary

Julius Baer is seeking a Director-level Test Automation leader to drive design, development and innovation for core banking and satellite applications. The role requires managing SDETs and performance engineers across UI, API, and load testing, with emphasis on cloud and on‑prem platforms.

The candidate should have extensive experience in automation frameworks, Java, and modern CI/CD pipelines, plus strong stakeholder engagement and risk-aware delivery.

Qualifications

• 12–15+ years of experience driving Test Automation strategies and technical solutions.
• Private Banking experience including Temenos T24 Core banking preferred.
• Expertise in Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban/SAFE).
• Automation leadership across UI, API, and performance testing.

Responsibilities

• Lead test automation design, development and innovation for Core Banking and Satellite apps.
• Manage a team of test automation engineers, SDETs, and load/performance engineers.
• Define test strategy, automation approach, environment and test data management.
