Job summary

DBS Bank, Asia Hub in Singapore, seeks an AVP Software Engineer in Test to lead testing for Core Banking solutions and integrations. You will translate strategy into robust test plans, scenarios and automation, including AI-powered accelerators.

You will design and maintain automated testing across APIs, UI, file interfaces and messaging, ensuring data quality, test data validity and end-to-end coverage with hands-on automation in Playwright, Selenium, Karate or Postman, focusing on mainframe

Qualifications

• At least 10 years of experience in software testing with leadership and hands-on automation.
• Experience with Core Banking systems and integrations.
• Familiarity with mainframe testing and test automation tooling.

Responsibilities

• Understand and translate testing strategy into test plans, scenarios and data patterns.
• Coordinate and execute functional and non-functional testing across Core Banking apps and integrations.
• Prepare and maintain testing toolset including AI-powered test case generation and data generation.
• Identify automation opportunities and improve automation coverage.
• Execute tests across APIs, UI, file interfaces, messaging queues and service mesh-based flows.
• Track progress and coordinate with BAs, Developers, Platform Teams and business users.
• Contribute to test-cycle reports and automation metrics.
• Ensure quality and timely completion of testing activities.
