Job summary

Senior Software Testing Engineer at KING SEARCH PTE. LTD. leads and executes software testing for banking and financial domain applications, including CRM, campaign management, and wealth management.

You will develop test plans, strategies, estimates, and metrics to ensure comprehensive coverage; define nonfunctional scenarios for performance testing and automation test cases. Responsibilities include functional, ETL, SIT, UAT, E2E, file testing, data migration testing, and supporting UAT.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in software testing within the Banking and Financial Domain.
• Expertise in CRM applications, campaign management, data warehouse processing, and front office systems.
• Hands-on experience in performance, integration, functional, E2E, security, rollback, and API testing; proficient in Oracle SQL/PLSQL.

Responsibilities

• Lead and execute software testing for banking and financial domain apps, including CRM and wealth management.
• Develop test plans, strategies, estimates, and metrics to ensure comprehensive coverage.
• Define nonfunctional scenarios for performance testing and automation test cases.
• Conduct functional, ETL, SIT, UAT, E2E, file testing, regression testing, data migration testing; support UAT.
• Test Teradata, Oracle SQL, PL/SQL, and ETL platforms.
• Perform API testing using Postman; work with Kafka and Adobe Analytics.
• Lead onsite-offshore coordination and allocate tasks to juniors.
• Collaborate with stakeholders as a functional business analyst; gather requirements and manage UAT.
• Manage test scenarios, traceability, and test cases in Agile; ensure execution.
• Use ALM, JIRA, Unix, UFT, and Selenium for test management and automation.
• Generate project reports, dashboards, and track progress and issues.
• Provide mentoring and training to junior team members.

Senior Software Testing Engineer

Responsibilities:

• Lead and execute software testing efforts for banking and financial domain applications, including CRM, campaign management, and wealth management.
• Develop test plans, test strategies, estimates, and metrics to ensure comprehensive coverage.
• Define and implement nonfunctional scenarios for performance testing and automation test cases.
• Conduct functional, ETL, SIT, UAT, E2E, file testing, regression testing, data migration testing, and support UAT processes.
• Perform testing on diverse systems, including Teradata, Oracle SQL, PL/SQL, and ETL platforms.
• Execute API testing using tools like Postman and technologies such as Kafka and Adobe Analytics.
• Work with front office applications like RM Desktop-PEARL, Cross Border Communication BCBOH, and KYC onboarding tools (ICE, EUCLID).
• Lead project calls with clients to ensure effective onsite-offshore coordination and allocate tasks to subordinates.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders as a functional business analyst, gathering requirements, and managing UAT testing.
• Handle test scenarios, traceability matrix preparation, test case development, and execution in an Agile environment.
• Use tools such as ALM, JIRA, Unix, UFT, and Selenium for test management and automation.
• Generate comprehensive project reports and maintain all project trackers, including dashboarding, individual progress tracking, and issue management.
• Provide guidance, mentoring, and training to junior team members.

Qualifications:

• 10+ years of experience in software testing within the Banking and Financial Domain.
• Expertise in CRM applications, campaign management, data warehouse processing, and front office systems.
• Hands-on experience in performance, integration, functional, E2E, security, rollback, and API testing.
• Proficiency with Oracle SQL Server, PL/SQL Developer, Dream Quark, IBM IIDR CDC, Toucan Toco, ELK, BI4, Ambari, Hive, and other databases and data visualization tools.
• Knowledge of cash equities, bonds, equity derivatives, credit cards, trade lifecycle, and corporate action lifecycle.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, Bitbucket, SonarQube, and knowledge of automation tools such as UFT and Selenium.
• Strong communication, leadership, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
