Job summary

NHG Health is seeking a reliable Senior Technician to support the maintenance and reliability of non-clinical equipment in a facilities environment. This hands-on role emphasizes practical work, problem-solving and ongoing technical learning.

You will work closely with Engineers and Technical Officers, gaining exposure to daily operations and projects while contributing to a safe, well‑maintained workplace and timely responses to work requests.

Qualifications

• NITEC in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• Good oral and written communication skills.
• Basic computer literacy.
• Hard-working, reliable and able to multitask.
• Strong safety awareness and WSH behaviour.
• TIG or welding certification is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance for assigned non‑clinical equipment.
• Respond to Work Requests (WR) and perform necessary repairs or rectifications.
• Ensure all maintenance activities are properly documented and submitted daily.
• Support Engineers and Technical Officers in supervising contractors and vendors, including warranty and contracted maintenance works.
• Participate in testing and commissioning of new facilities and equipment.
• Identify spare parts needed and support procurement activities.
• Perform basic fabrication and welding for innovation or improvement works where necessary.
• Contribute to improvement initiatives to enhance equipment performance and reliability.
• Follow safe work practices and maintain a strong Workplace Safety & Health (WSH) mindset.
• Support ad‑hoc duties as assigned by the Supervisor.
