You will read schematics, follow SOPs and troubleshoot electromechanical systems in a cleanroom environment. Qualifications

• Diploma/Associate Degree in Electrical/Electronics/Mechatronics or related field.
• 1–10 years hands-on experience in semiconductor/electronics/equipment manufacturing environments.
• Practical experience in assembly, maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Able to read SOPs and follow written instructions; familiar with hand/power tools.
• Experience with electrical/electronic test instruments; vacuum/pneumatic systems is a plus.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical skills and willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair equipment to identify and fix issues.

Job Summary

We are seeking a hands‑on Equipment Technician / Engineering Technician to support the assembly, testing, maintenance and troubleshooting of equipment used in a high-tech manufacturing environment.

The successful candidate will have a strong practical background in electrical or electro‑mechanical systems and be comfortable working with technical documentation, tools and test equipment. Candidates with experience in semiconductor, display, electronics, precision engineering or other equipment‑intensive manufacturing environments are encouraged to apply.

Key Responsibilities

• Assemble, inspect, test, maintain and repair electrical and electro‑mechanical equipment, modules and components according to technical work instructions.
• Read and follow schematics, wiring diagrams, parts lists, engineering drawings and standard operating procedures (SOPs) .
• Perform hands‑on troubleshooting and repair of equipment and assemblies to identify and resolve technical issues.
• Support equipment involving electrical, mechanical, vacuum and pneumatic systems .
• Conduct incoming parts and component checks to ensure completeness and identify defects or abnormalities before assembly.
• Use appropriate hand tools, test fixtures and electronic measurement instruments during assembly, testing and troubleshooting activities.
• Perform testing of assemblies and components using relevant equipment, which may include vacuum pumps, leak detection equipment and other diagnostic tools .
• Identify recurring equipment or assembly issues and contribute to troubleshooting and process improvement activities.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed, equipment status, parts usage and other required technical documentation.
• Support basic equipment software installation, configuration or programming activities where required.
• Follow established quality, safety and cleanroom procedures at all times.

Requirements

• Minimum secondary/high school qualification; Diploma, Associate Degree, NITEC/Higher NITEC or other relevant technical qualification in Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics, Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline would be advantageous.
• Approximately 1-10 years of relevant hands‑on experience , preferably within semiconductor, display, electronics, equipment manufacturing or a comparable technical environment.
• Practical experience in equipment assembly, maintenance, troubleshooting or repair .
• Able to understand and follow written and verbal technical instructions and SOPs.
• Familiar with basic hand and power tools .
• Candidates with experience using electrical/electronic test instruments, vacuum systems or pneumatic equipment will have an advantage.
• Good analytical and troubleshooting skills with a systematic approach to problem‑solving.
• Willingness to learn new equipment, processes and technical methodologies.
• Able to work independently with appropriate supervision and collaborate effectively within a technical team.

Work Environment & Physical Requirements

This is a hands‑on technical position within a manufacturing/engineering environment. The role may require prolonged standing and walking, bending, kneeling, reaching, climbing stairs or ladders, working in confined areas and handling or lifting equipment/components.

Candidates should be comfortable working with hand and power tools and around manufacturing equipment. Depending on the assigned work area, operation of material‑handling equipment may also be required.

The position may involve working in a controlled or cleanroom environment , requiring the use of appropriate PPE such as cleanroom garments, safety glasses, gloves, protective footwear and other safety equipment as required.
