Job summary

Keppel Management Ltd. is seeking a dedicated Operator to support the shift engineer in running a water treatment plant in Singapore. The role focuses on maintaining 24/7 dispatch of treated water and ensuring quality by adhering to WPA and O&M procedures.

You will help monitor consumption, follow safety rules, and execute corrective actions as needed. Ideal candidates bring at least 2 years of related plant operations experience, strong troubleshooting skills, and the ability to multi-task

Qualifications

• 2+ years of water treatment or process plant operations experience.
• Able to troubleshoot and familiar with plant equipment.
• Willing to perform overtime and shift work.
• Forklift license preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support Shift Engineer to operate the plant to achieve 100% availability with 24-hour dispatch of treated water.
• Perform operations and maintenance work in accordance with safety, environment, and housekeeping standards.
• Report and record any operations abnormalities to the Supervisor and implement rectification plans to restore water quality and quantity.
• Monitor daily chemical consumption.
• Comply with environment, health and safety regulations for all works at the plant.
• Undertake any other duties as reasonably assigned by the Supervisor/Head of Department.

JOB DESCRIPTION

• Support Shift Engineer to Operate the Plant to achieve 100% availability with 24hrs continuous dispatch of Treated Water complying with WPA and O&M procedure meeting dispatch quantity , quality and energy target
• Perform O&M work in strict compliance with Safety , Environment pollution control and Housekeeping
• Report and record any Operations abnormalities to the Supervisor and carry out rectification plan promptly to restore both dispatch water quality and quantity
• Monitor daily chemical consumption
• Comply with environment , health and safety regulation for all works carried out in the plant
• Such other duties and responsibilities as may be reasonably requested by your immediate Supervisor / Head of department from time to time

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Minimum 2 years of related water treatment or process plant experience in operations
• Able to perform trouble shooting skills & familiar with water treatment plant equipment
• Able to multi-task and innovative to resolve problems at site
• Able to perform overtime and shift work if required
• Knowledge of Lab Operations Process and/or Possession of Forklift License preferred
