Job summary

Misumi South East Asia Pte Ltd is seeking a strategic sales professional to develop major semiconductor accounts and increase product adoption through deep application understanding, qualification support, specification development and long-term account planning.

You will engage engineering, design, procurement and other stakeholders to drive specification, qualification, and supplier-conversion opportunities while coordinating samples, testing and proposals, and guiding junior team members.

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical, Mechatronics, Automation or related engineering.
• Significant technical-sales or application-sales experience in factory automation.
• Proven track record developing semiconductor-equipment customers or accounts.
• Knowledge of engineering qualification, specification or supplier-conversion processes.
• Experience with actuators, motors, linear motion, pneumatics, sensors or related components.
• Established semiconductor-industry relationships with engineering, procurement or equipment stakeholders.
• Ability to own strategic accounts, targets and full commercial follow-through.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute strategies for assigned semiconductor accounts and sales targets.
• Engage engineering, design, procurement and other decision-makers.
• Understand equipment applications and recommend factory-automation products.
• Develop specification, qualification and supplier-conversion opportunities.
• Coordinate samples, testing, evaluation and technical-commercial proposals.
• Manage opportunities through qualification, negotiation, closure and post-sales follow-up.
• Handle or coordinate quotations, orders, deliveries and AR follow-up.
• Guide junior Sales or Technical Sales employees and share application knowledge.
