Job summary

M.T.M. SHIP MANAGEMENT PTE LTD is seeking a Senior Technical Executive / Purchaser to manage procurement for vessels. You will source parts, negotiate with suppliers, and process POs while coordinating with the technical team for dry dockings and routine maintenance. Strong analytical and multi-tasking abilities are essential.

You will liaise with vendors to ensure timely deliveries, manage budgets, and prepare monthly procurement reports to support smooth ship operations.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in purchasing for ship management.
• Detail oriented with strong analytical skills.
• Able to multi-task and work under pressure.
• Computer literate and proficient with procurement systems.

Responsibilities

• Source, evaluate, and procure spare parts, stores, lubricants, and services for vessels.
• Manage vendor relationships, negotiate pricing, ensure quality and compliance with specs.
• Raise and process purchase orders (POs) per procedures and budget controls.
• Coordinate with Technical Team for dry dockings, repairs, and maintenance.
• Coordinate logistics and deliveries to vessels at designated ports.
• Prepare monthly reports.
