Job summary

PeopleSearch Pte Ltd is seeking an experienced systems engineering leader to guide a multi-disciplinary team through the full lifecycle of large-scale, software-intensive systems in Singapore. You will shape architecture, drive delivery, and foster a high-performance culture.

You will mentor engineers, manage risks, and coordinate with stakeholders to ensure solutions meet stringent safety and operational requirements while promoting best practices and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology or related discipline.
10+ years of experience in systems engineering, integration engineering, or related technical disciplines.
Minimum 5 years of direct people management experience, including leading, mentoring, and growing engineering teams.
Experience in safety-critical environments across aerospace, defense, transportation, telecom, or similar complex engineering domains.
Proven track record delivering complex, large-scale systems through full lifecycle (requirements to handover).

Responsibilities

Lead, mentor, and develop a team of engineers.
Provide technical and people leadership across the full lifecycle (requirements, architecture, design, development, integration, verification, deployment, and support).
Drive project execution, resource planning, prioritization, risk management, and delivery of complex systems.
Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure solutions meet business and customer requirements.
Establish and promote engineering best practices, quality standards, and continuous improvement.
Manage team performance, career development, coaching, and succession planning.
Ensure effective management of risks, issues, dependencies, and milestones.
