Job summary

Digital Realty, Inc. is seeking an IT Systems Operations professional to maintain and monitor the company’s infrastructure, ensuring availability, performance, and security.

You will manage Windows, Azure, AWS workloads, storage systems (SAN), and related cloud services, while implementing cost-efficient tools and processes. The role requires travel occasionally and collaboration across multiple vendors.

Qualifications

• IT related Bachelor education or 5+ years work experience.
• Microsoft Certification.
• VMware VCP (preferred).
• 3+ years experience in an international environment.
• Experience in multi-vendor environments.
• Fluent in English, written and spoken.
• Willing to participate in after hours on-call duty on rotation.
• Occasional travel to DLR locations.
• Deep knowledge of Windows, Azure, storage SAN, VMware, AWS and cloud services (IaaS, PaaS & SaaS).
• Strong discipline; organized and detail-oriented; good risk communication.

Responsibilities

• Ensure operational stability of IT systems infrastructure.
• Maintain performance and resource management across systems.
• Deploy and maintain system and cloud architecture per business requirements.
• Maintain and operate system backups; ensure recoverability and data integrity.
• Manage infrastructure lifecycle: OS versioning and hardware replacements.
• Identify, install, maintain and deploy system management tooling globally.
• Provide on-call system management and travel as needed.
