Job summary

United States Digital Space LLC is seeking a Cloud Platform Resilience Engineer to ensure the reliability and availability of our enterprise cloud platforms across Azure and AWS. This hands-on role focuses on cloud operations, IaC automation and platform resilience.

You will monitor health, support incidents, implement automation with Terraform and scripting, and collaborate with networking, security and application teams to improve service continuity and performance.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience supporting enterprise cloud platforms and SRE environments.
• Hands-on experience with Azure and/or AWS in production.
• Practical experience with Terraform or other IaC technologies.
• Working knowledge of Kubernetes and container-based platforms.
• Experience troubleshooting incidents and maintaining highly available services.
• Strong understanding of cloud networking, IAM and security fundamentals.
• Experience with ITIL-style incident/change/problem processes.
• Strong analytical and stakeholder communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Support and operate enterprise Azure and AWS cloud environments in production.
• Build and maintain cloud infrastructure using Terraform and IaC practices.
• Monitor platform health, investigate incidents and restore services.
• Support Kubernetes and container platforms, including maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Participate in disaster recovery testing and platform resilience initiatives.
• Automate tasks and improve reliability through scripting and engineering solutions.
• Collaborate with networking, security, infrastructure and application teams to resolve issues.
• Contribute to root cause analysis and operational documentation.
