Job summary

recruit express pte ltd is seeking a skilled Global Demand & Supply Planner to drive end-to-end planning across international markets. You will own the master global demand schedule, build rolling forecasts, and consolidate forecasts from regional units to inform production and inventory decisions.

You will coordinate with sales, marketing, and procurement to incorporate promotions and seasonal spikes, optimize safety stock, and minimize stockouts and write-offs while balancing shelf-life

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in SCM, Logistics, Operations Management, International Business or related field.
• 3–5 years of hands-on planning experience in food, beverage, or perishable FMCG/pharma/life sciences sectors with exposure to global distribution.
• Advanced Excel skills and working knowledge of ERP/supply chain planning tools (e.g. SAP IBP, Oracle, or equivalent).
• Strong cross-functional communication and vendor negotiation skills.

Responsibilities

• Own the master global demand schedule and provide long-term production visibility.
• Build rolling 12-month demand forecasts using historical sales, seasonality, and market trends.

About the Role

Take ownership of end-to-end demand and supply planning for international and regional markets, driving accurate SKU forecasting and optimising inventory to minimize stockouts and excess waste. This role sits at the heart of the business - partnering closely with global markets, sales, marketing, and procurement to align demand with production capacity and keep the supply chain running efficiently.

What You'll Be Doing

Global Demand Consolidation

• Own the master global demand schedule, giving the factory clear long-term production visibility
• Build rolling 12-month demand forecasts using historical sales, seasonality, and market trend analysis
• Consolidate and validate monthly forecasts from international market units and regional distributors
• Work with sales and marketing to factor in promotions, trade tenders, and seasonal spikes
• Track forecast accuracy (MAPE/Bias), investigate variances, and refine models accordingly

Master Production & Supply Planning

• Translate consolidated demand into a Master Production Schedule (MPS) and actionable monthly production/packaging plans
• Optimise factory efficiency by minimizing line changeovers while meeting delivery deadlines
• Manage and dynamically reallocate safety stock across regional hubs based on market shortages or surges
• Balance inventory levels against shelf-life constraints to reduce slow-moving stock and write-offs
• Lead S&OP alignment meetings to resolve demand-supply imbalances and mitigate stockout risks

Material & Constraint Management

• Partner with procurement to ensure raw material availability aligns with production plans
• Account for operational constraints such as seasonal supply cycles, plant maintenance, and shutdown periods

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Operations Management, International Business, or related field
• 3-5 years of hands-on planning experience within food, beverage, or perishable FMCG/pharma/life sciences sectors, with exposure to global market distribution
• Advanced Excel skills and working knowledge of ERP/supply chain planning tools (e.g. SAP IBP, Oracle, or equivalent)
• Strong cross-functional communication and vendor negotiation skills
• Proven ability to manage diverse international stakeholders and solve structural planning challenges under fluctuating supply constraints
• A track record of stability and long-term commitment in previous roles is highly valued
