Job summary

ResMed in Tuas, Singapore, is seeking a Senior Supplier Quality Engineer to lead supplier capability development and ensure readiness for current and future product launches. You will work across supplier quality, manufacturing engineering, and NPI teams to drive manufacturing excellence and category strategy.

The role demands 8+ years of relevant experience, strong quality systems knowledge, and proven leadership in cross‑functional environments within the medical device field.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in supplier quality, manufacturing engineering, or related fields.
• Strong foundation in manufacturing processes, quality systems, and product development lifecycle.
• Proven ability to apply engineering methodologies to solve complex technical and business problems.
• Demonstrated judgment in selecting methods and tools for new challenges.

Responsibilities

• Lead and drive processes to assess and enhance supplier capabilities across manufacturing technology, process innovation, digitization and project delivery.
• Translate supplier insights into actionable recommendations for product development and category strategies.
• Support prototyping, verification, and feasibility assessments for manufacturing suitability.
• Collaborate with design, manufacturing, and quality teams to ensure robust supplier integration during product launches.
• Develop and implement processes, equipment, facilities, and documentation to meet production, quality, cost and safety requirements.
• Lead sub-functional teams and supplier-related projects; mentor junior engineers and build internal/external networks to influence outcomes.
