Job summary

People Profilers Pte. Ltd. seeks an experienced Subcontract/Contract Manager to lead baseline creation, manage flow-down obligations, and ensure alignment with prime contracts.

You will drive risk management, oversee communications with subcontractors, and coordinate with Legal on disputes and amendments. The role requires senior experience in complex industrial environments, strong analytical skills, and the ability to influence multi‑cultural teams while protecting the company’s commercial

Qualifications

• Advanced academic background in Law, Contract Management, Business, Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Engineering, or related discipline
• 8+ years of experience in Subcontract/Contract Management, Procurement, or Commercial roles in complex international industrial environments
• Ability to manage large, long‑cycle contracts with senior stakeholders
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and synthesis abilities to translate frameworks into guidance
• Proven ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and influence senior stakeholders
• Excellent interpersonal skills to protect the company's position while resolving issues
• Comfort with digital platforms and standard business tools (CLM systems, MS Word/Excel/PowerPoint)

Responsibilities

• Establish and manage the subcontract baseline from award to closeout, aligned with the main contract.
• Incorporate flow-down obligations from the prime contract while protecting commercial interests.
• Ensure contractual awareness across project and procurement teams for obligations and terms.
• Anticipate and manage subcontract deviations via notices, change orders, and amendments.
• Identify and drive subcontract risks and opportunities with cross‑functional teams.
• Oversee all contractual communications with subcontractors and suppliers for compliance.
• Coordinate with Legal on disputes, evidence management, and negotiation strategies.
• Monitor compliance with scope, schedule, quality, HSE, insurance, bonds, and reporting.
• Manage subcontract change control including variations and commercial adjustments.
• Oversee closeout activities including final accounts and archiving docs.
• Identify opportunities to improve project financial performance through subcontract management.
• Support tendering by developing terms and evaluating deviations.
• Ensure alignment between prime and subcontracts and back-to-back variations.
• Assess impact of customer changes on subcontract scope and amendments.
• Assist in negotiation of subcontract variations and changes throughout the lifecycle.
• Recommend subcontracting strategies that balance competitiveness and compliance.
• Prepare and present contractual recommendations for internal approval.
