Job summary

Singapore Institute of Management is seeking a Senior Manager for Student Recruitment and Market Development to lead recruitment efforts and drive revenue across all lines of business. You will develop and execute comprehensive recruitment and marketing plans, monitor trends with a data-driven approach, and lead relationships with recruitment agents, feeders and universities.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of managerial experience leading cross-cultural teams across business development, account management or sales management.
• Proven track record in driving business growth, meeting sales targets and building long-term partnerships.
• Experience with diverse stakeholders across countries, cultures and environments; able to navigate complex relationships.
• Ability to mentor and motivate teams to deliver performance while driving collaboration and accountability.
• Experience in market expansion, partnership engagement strategies and client retention programmes.
• Familiarity with Singapore's Private Education sector and Transnational Education (TNE) landscape is an advantage.
• Knowledge of education-related business development activities and higher education partnerships is preferred.
• Proficiency in Korean is advantageous due to travel to South Korea and Korean partners.

Responsibilities

• Lead and drive number and revenue targets across all lines of business.
• Develop a comprehensive recruitment and marketing plan including exhibitions, seminars and alumni events.
• Maintain a data-driven approach to recruitment with monitoring and reporting of admission trends.
• Achieve student admission targets through recruitment agents, feeders and universities.
• Lead conversion activities with potential students and parents, offering guidance and education advice.
• Manage country budget allocations and prepare reports and forecasts.
• Oversee launch of new programmes in-country.
• Enhance SIM’s value proposition to differentiate offerings.
• Develop and maintain relationships with embassies, government agencies and private sector partners.
• Develop and manage partnerships and activities with internal and external stakeholders.
• Collaborate with internal departments to ensure smooth admission processes.
