Job summary

LITEC ENGINEERING PTE. LTD. in Singapore is seeking a Structural Steel Engineer with a strong understanding of construction drawings, materials, and methods to drive project execution.

You will plan schedules, manage materials, control costs, supervise site works, and maintain comprehensive documentation, coordinating with consultants and the PM to resolve on-site issues. Degree in Civil/Structural engineering with 5+ years of structural steel experience is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Civil/Structural Engineering or related field.

Responsibilities

• Carry out construction work scheduling
• Material requisition
• Cost control
• Project supervision and documentation
• Maintain records of works, materials and all completed works
• Monitor variation and claims and feedback information to the PM
• Implement cost control measures to meet project budget
• Site co-ordination with all parties and resolve on-site issues
• Plan and schedule work sequences per the Project Management Plan
• Liaise with consultants on design analysis and approvals and resolve technical issues on site
• Site inspection for civil works per project specs and drawings
• Ensure site workers meet quality and contractual requirements
• Control materials, plan overall schedule and implement planning measures
• Assist in project planning, defining scope and maintaining schedules
• Maintain project documentation, contracts, change orders and reports
• Monitor and control master programme
• Other ad-hoc duties as assigned by Project Manager
