Job summary

LITEC ENGINEERING PTE. LTD. is seeking a Structural Steel Engineer to lead scheduling, cost control and on-site coordination for steel construction projects in Singapore. The role involves liaising with consultants, reviewing designs and ensuring works comply with project drawings and quality standards.

The candidate should have a civil/structural engineering degree and at least five years in structural steel, with demonstrated project experience. 5.5 days work is expected.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in structural steel field, with at least one completed project.
• Ability to work with multiple discipline projects.

Responsibilities

• Carry out construction work scheduling, material requisition, cost control, project supervision and documentation.
• Maintain records of works, materials and all completed works.
• Track variations and claims, feedback information to the PM.
• Implement cost control measures to meet project budget.
• Site coordination with all concerned parties and resolve site issues.
• Plan and schedule work sequences per the Project Management Plan.
• Liaise with consultants on design analysis, design work and approvals.
• Site inspection for civil work to ensure compliance with drawings and specifications.
• Ensure site supervisor/workers meet quality standards and contractual requirements.
• Control materials, plan overall schedule and implement planning measures.
