Job summary

BW Offshore is seeking an experienced Technical Authority Structural to provide leadership, governance and assurance across our FPSO and offshore portfolio in Singapore. You will be the custodian of naval architecture standards, ensuring safe, compliant, and efficient design and operation through the asset lifecycle.

This senior role combines deep technical mastery with strategic influence, collaboration and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

Minimum 15 years’ experience in offshore O&G or closely related FPSO environment.
Master’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering; Bachelor with extensive relevant experience may be considered.
Proven ability to lead in multidisciplinary, multinational settings.
Experience as Principal/Lead Engineer or Technical Authority is preferred.

Responsibilities

Own and continuously develop the company’s structural technical standards.
Provide expert technical guidance to projects, asset operations and technical teams.
Lead verification and assurance activities ensuring compliance with standards and class rules.
Review and approve technical deviations, methods and deliverables.
Act as main technical interface with classification societies and regulators.
Capture lessons learned and drive continuous improvement across assets.
Mentor Structural Engineers across the organisation.
Collaborate with other disciplines to deliver integrated, optimized solutions.
