Job summary

Aibel Pte Ltd in Singapore is seeking an experienced Structural Engineer to perform structural analysis and design calculations for offshore FPSO topside modules using SACS. You will input to 3D modelling, review drawings, and ensure quality deliverables in a multi-discipline environment.

The role requires hands-on experience in offshore structures, familiarity with API/AISC standards, and a strong focus on accuracy and coordination across interfaces. 7+ years in oil & gas is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural engineering required.
• 7+ years structural engineering experience in oil & gas projects, including 3 years offshore/upstream with FPSO topside experience.
• Experience with SACS for topside module design and calculations.
• Review of vendor drawings and MTO; multi-discipline interface exposure.
• Familiarity with API and AISC standards for offshore structures.

Responsibilities

• Perform structural analysis and design calculations of FPSO topside modules using SACS.
• Provide input to designers for modelling and structural detailing of topsides modules.
• Check structural drawings and prepare MTO; review vendor drawings and interfaces.
• Report to Lead Structural Engineer and support Section Manager - Structural.
• Ensure technical correctness, quality and progress of structural scope and deliverables.
• Adhere to company work processes, procedures, and quality policy.
