Job summary

DBS Bank Ltd is seeking a Senior Assoc SRE Engineer in Singapore to design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines and automate infrastructure with Puppet in a hybrid cloud setup. You will monitor Node.js-based microservices, drive incident response and RCA processes, and contribute to scalable, resilient systems across cloud environments.

The role requires strong scripting skills, containerization with Docker/Kubernetes, and experience with cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure) plus observability

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
• Experience in SRE/DevOps in high-availability environment.
• Hands-on Puppet configuration management.
• Proficiency in Node.js and shell scripting.
• Containerization with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience with cloud platforms AWS/GCP/Azure.
• Observability tooling such as Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK stack.
• Solid Linux/Unix admin and networking knowledge.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines to ensure reliable, secure, and rapid deployment of banking applications.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration management, and application deployment utilizing Puppet and other IaC tools.
• Monitor system performance, reliability, and availability, proactively identifying and resolving bottlenecks within Node.js applications and microservices.
• Collaborate with development and operations teams to enhance system scalability, resilience, and disaster recovery capabilities across hybrid cloud environments.
• Lead incident response efforts, conduct thorough root-cause analysis (RCA), and implement preventive measures to minimize system downtime.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive telemetry, logging, and alerting systems to ensure deep observability of production environments.
