Job summary

Exyte in Singapore is seeking a Project Scheduler/Planner to oversee tender information compilation, monthly reports, and client presentations. You will coordinate construction planning with clients and building/facility contractors on complex interfaces.

Your role includes liaising with the project team, subcontractors and authorities, updating the Detailed Works Programme, and supporting claims with baseline schedules from concept to construction and commissioning.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree and relevant professional background required.
• 5–7 years of experience in construction planning/scheduling.
• Understanding of codes and engineering standards for international clients.

Responsibilities

• Compile information for tenders, monthly reports and presentations.
• Plan construction and liaise with clients, building contractors and facility contractors.
• Coordinate with subcontractors and authorities on planning and programming for project interfaces.
• Liaise with Construction Managers and site teams to address interface issues promptly.
• Update Detailed Works Programme with project team.
• Prepare baseline programmes and substantiation for claims and commercial provisions.

Job description

• Compilation of all necessary information for tenders, monthly reports and presentation for both internal purpose and client.
• Construction planning and liaising with clients, building and facility contractors.
• Coordinate and liaison with subcontractors and authorities in relation to planning and programming matters for the various interface that exist on the project.
• Liaison with Construction Managers and site team to ensure interface issues are identified and dealt with in a timely manner.
• Coordinate and liaise with project team to update the Detailed Works Programme.
• Maintain Consultants and Vendors drawing progress with Document Controller.
• Prepare programme and other detailed information necessary for substantiating claims and provision with regards to planning and programming to the commercial department.
• Submission of an optimum tender programme which can meet the client’s requirements / provision of a workable and cost effective Baseline / Master Programme.
• Involved in the development and control of Project Work Schedule, such as building works, M&E and Process Systems from concept design to construction/installation to testing & commissioning.
• Input the activity information into a project scheduling software and use an iterative process of time analysis to obtain an optimum time schedule.

Job Requirements
