Job summary

Crédit Agricole CIB in Singapore invites an experienced Java Software Engineer to join the CSI department for a 12-month contract. You will deliver robust in-house banking applications, work with risk and finance tools, and coordinate with business analysts to translate requirements into scalable solutions.

The role requires deep Java expertise (17/21), Spark, Kubernetes, Docker, and CI/CD in an Agile context.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of software development and testing experience.
• Strong hands-on experience with Java 17/21, Spring Boot, and SQL databases.
• Experience with Apache Spark, Kubernetes and Docker.
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and Agile/Scrum practices.
• Frontend and backend development exposure; relational database expertise.

Responsibilities

• Deliver fully tested source code meeting quality indicators.
• Collaborate with architects and business analysts on requirements.
• Design solutions using proven patterns and performance tuning.
• Prepare detailed technical documentation and estimations.
• Develop test strategies and perform code reviews.
• Mentor junior team members and support Agile delivery.
