Job summary

Crédit Agricole CIB in Singapore seeks a Senior Java developer to join the Cash Management and Corporate Banking Services (CCS) department. You will lead design and maintenance of the International Core Banking System, delivering features in an agile environment.

You will mentor junior developers, collaborate with business stakeholders, and drive high-quality solutions using TDD/BDD and microservices patterns.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of hands-on Java/J2EE development.
• Deep understanding of distributed platform & microservices architecture.
• Proven design skills using patterns; awareness of anti-patterns; performance tuning.
• Proficient in Spring Frameworks including IOC, Spring Boot, Spring Integration.
• Hands-on experience with deployment/orchestration, including Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab, Artifactory, Nexus and Maven.
• Extensive experience with TDD/BDD and unit testing (JUnit, Mockito, Cucumber).
• Strong software architecture knowledge, design patterns, and best practices.
• Leading design/implementation of complex features and applications.
• Good understanding of UML-based design, development, testing, deployment, maintenance.
• Basic cash management functional knowledge.
• Proficiency in Agile and Scrum methodologies.
• Excellent problem solving and teamwork skills.
• Financial industry experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop and enhance cash management and reporting applications to meet evolving business requirements.
• Provide maintenance and support for existing cash management and reporting apps, ensuring stability.
• Lead design, estimation, and strategy for new features, upgrades, or migrations.
• Apply TDD/BDD to ensure high-quality code and robust applications.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate to solutions.
• Liaise with product owners and business analysts for clarity on requirements and user stories.
• Provide detailed estimates for user stories to aid planning.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery.
• Leverage cash management knowledge to align with industry requirements.
• Apply Agile and Scrum to drive project success.
• Mentor junior developers and share best practices.
• Assist Technical Lead with technical tasks and activities.
