Job summary

Crédit Agricole CIB in Singapore is seeking a Java Developer to join the Core Banking IT team. This role focuses on developing and maintaining the International Back Office Cash Management System deployed across 25 business units, with greenfield work and collaboration with BA, PM, tech Lead, and co-developers.

The ideal candidate has at least 4 years of Java/J2EE experience, 1 year in UI technologies, and hands-on with Spring, Docker, Kubernetes, and microservices.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4+ years experience in web and stand-alone application design & development with latest Java/JEE technologies in Unix environment.
• Minimum 1+ years experience in UI development with React/Angular.
• Excellent understanding of Spring Frameworks (IOC, Spring Boot, Spring Batch, Spring Integration, Spring Security).
• Good knowledge of C language.
• Experience with Docker, CI/CD and Kubernetes.
• Strong knowledge of Microservices architecture.
• Jenkins, Maven and deployment experience.
• Proficient with Git/SVN source control.
• Experience with messaging systems like IBM MQ, HornetQ, RabbitMQ.
• Experience with application servers like JBoss, Jetty, WebSphere.

Responsibilities

• Research, design, and develop software; analyze user needs and build solutions.
• Design and implement a greenfield solution using Java and React.
• Plan and execute rollout from support to production across sites.
• Update software, enhance capabilities, and define testing procedures.
• Collaborate with engineers and architects to elaborate technical specs.
• Draft specifications and system integration documents.
• Maintain high delivery quality and support testing activities.
• Support UAT and non-functional testing; resolve production issues.
