Job summary

re-zoo-me is seeking a Software Engineer for its Software Engineering Team in Singapore for a 12-month contract with potential extension. You will develop and deliver Java/Kotlin applications using Spring Boot, work with MySQL/Oracle databases and IBM MQ, and translate business requirements into scalable, robust solutions.

You will tackle complex legacy defects, ensure adherence to bank standards, and participate in Agile practices to deliver high-quality software in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Core Java or Kotlin and JUnit testing.
• Strong knowledge of Spring Boot and RESTful services.
• Experience with messaging: JMS or IBM MQ.
• Relational databases and SQL optimization basics.
• Familiarity with Linux shell commands and basic DevOps concepts.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver Java/Kotlin applications with Spring Boot.

• Investigate production issues and resolve complex defects in a banking context.
