Job summary

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Computer/Network/Systems Engineering or related discipline.
• 10+ years in network segmentation, VLANs, PoE, IP addressing, firewalls, certificates, secure remote access, and cybersecurity hardening.
• Industry networking certifications demonstrating competence in IP networking and cybersecurity.
• Experience in system testing, integrated commissioning, defect resolution, and customer handover.
• Experience in smart building, access control, CCTV, and IP-networked solutions is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Provide pre-sales engineering and solution design for IT, IoT, security devices, and network infrastructure.
• Perform assessments and gap analyses to validate customer requirements and integration needs.
• Ensure solutions comply with codes, cybersecurity requirements, and company standards.
• Develop technical architecture, network designs, and integration strategies for security/smart buildings.
• Support FAT/SAT/UAT and system demonstrations through project handover.
• Create commissioning checklists, test scripts, risk assessments, and rollback plans.
• Test, commission, and deploy network, IoT, and security systems in the field.
• Troubleshoot faults in network connectivity and security platforms; diagnose issues.
• Work with project teams to deliver solutions from design to handover; document outputs.
