Chubb Fire & Security in Singapore is seeking a Senior Solutions Engineer to lead technical design for IT, IoT, access control, and CCTV across security projects. You will provide pre-sales support, validate requirements, and develop robust architectures that meet standards and codes.

The role includes FAT/SAT/UAT, test development, and handover execution. With 10+ years in network engineering and relevant certifications, you will collaborate across teams to deliver secure, compliant security

Qualifications

• Needs 10+ years in network segmentation, VLANs, PoE, IP addressing, firewalls, and secure remote access.
• Experience in system testing, commissioning, and customer handover is required.
• Background in integrating/smart building applications and IP-networked security solutions is a plus.

Role PurposeThe Senior Solutions Engineer is a technical expert supporting the business in the areas of network infrastructure, IoT, Access Control/ CCTV and other Security Systems design and implementation. He will be the go-to person for technical solutioning, advisory and troubleshooting.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide pre-sales engineering and solution design support for IT, IoT, security field devices, and network infrastructure projects:Perform technical assessments and gap analyses to validate customer requirements, existing infrastructure, system constraints, and integration requirements.Ensure all solutions comply with customer specifications, relevant codes of practice, cybersecurity requirements, manufacturer recommendations, and company quality standardsDevelop technical architecture, network designs, and integration strategies for security and smart building applications.Assist in factory acceptance tests (FAT), site acceptance tests (SAT), user acceptance tests (UAT), and system demonstrations before and during project handoverDevelop commissioning checklists, test scripts, method statements, risk assessments, and contingency or rollback plans for major implementation worksPerform testing, commissioning, and field deployment support for network, IoT, and security systems.Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve faults related to network connectivity, security platforms, and field devices.Support system integration, configuration, and optimization to ensure reliable operation and performance.Work closely with project, operations, and customer teams to deliver technical solutions from design through commissioning and handover.Prepare technical documentation, test plans, commissioning reports, and as-built network diagrams.Provide hands-on technical support for troubleshooting, maintenance, and continuous improvement of deployed systems.Lead technical investigations of complex network and security system issues, providing root cause analysis and corrective actions.Act as the technical subject matter expert for IP networking, cybersecurity, IoT devices, and integrated security solutions.Qualifications and ExperienceDiploma or Degree in Computer/ Network/ Systems Engineering, telecommunications or a related discipline.At least 10 years of relevant experience in network segmentation, VLANs, PoE, IP addressing, firewalls, certificates, secure remote access, and cybersecurity hardening.Hold relevant industry-recognized networking certifications demonstrating competence in IP networking, network configuration and cybersecurity.Demonstrated experience in system testing, integrated commissioning, defect resolution and customer handover.Experience in electronic security design, integration or commissioning experience an advantage.Experience in implementing smart building systems/ applications, access control, CCTV systems and/or IP-networked solutions an advantage.Additional InformationAbout Us, Our Culture & What We Can Offer YouEstablished over 200 years ago, Chubb Fire & Security are a global business driven by keeping people and the world safe.
