Job summary

F5, Inc. is seeking a Solutions Engineer in Singapore to support the sales team with deep technical knowledge of F5 products and the broader ecosystem.

You will design and present solutions, run proofs of concept, and collaborate with customers and partners to map out opportunities and technical buy-in. The role emphasizes leadership in multi-cloud architectures, containerized environments, and security-aware deployments, with hybrid work options and ongoing training to stay ahead in a dynamic

Qualifications

• BS/BA or equivalent work experience.
• 10+ years related industry experiences or experiences working in public sector accounts.
• Advanced F5 solution knowledge and relevant experience in key competitor offerings preferred.
• Expertise in secure multi-cloud architectures (knowledge of F5 technologies, a plus).
• Experience with two or more public/private cloud vendors and automation toolsets.
• Proficiency in containerized/ microservices architecture.
• Proficiency in container orchestration solutions (ex: OpenShift, Kubernetes).
• Proficient in multiple programming languages (Python, JavaScript, Golang, etc.) is a plus.
• Expertise in joining/leading/organizing meetup to representF5is a plus.
• Understanding of application security vulnerabilities, threats and controls, and web application firewall (preferred but not required).
• Prior mentorship experience a plus.
• Demonstrated leadership capabilities and experience in leading initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Articulate the F5 product strategy, messaging and positioning F5’s value proposition and solutions for customer business objectives
• Provide technical expertise through sales presentations, solution designs, solution demonstrations, proof of concepts by various mediums such as in-person/virtual presentations, white boards etc
• Determine viability of opportunity and map out organizational structure.
• Drive the sales process in partnership with the Account Manager, by identifying the Technical Decision Maker, getting their technical validation, support, and sponsorship.
• Consistently provide world‑class customer service through the customer life cycle
• Work collaboratively with internal technical and sales resources, share best practices, updates, offer and seek expertise as the need arises in various opportunities.
