Job summary

NTT SINGAPORE PTE. LTD. seeks a Senior Software Engineer / Tech Lead to design and build enterprise-scale platforms used across large organizations. You will lead architecture, build scalable backend systems and APIs, and mentor engineers to improve development practices.

The role demands 12+ years of experience with Java (Spring Boot) and Go, distributed systems and microservices, plus hands-on work with Kafka, databases, REST APIs, and modern observability tools. Banking experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of software engineering experience.
• Hands-on Java (Spring Boot) and Go expertise with distributed systems.
• Leadership in design and development of distributed systems and microservices.
• Strong Kafka, MongoDB/MariaDB, REST APIs and system integration skills.
• Experience building self-service platforms, workflow automation, reporting, or storage management.
• Exposure to OpenShift/Kubernetes, Jenkins, Grafana and observability tools.
• Prior banking or financial services experience.
• Experience as a Technical Lead driving architecture decisions and mentoring engineers.

We are looking for a highly experienced Senior Software Engineer / Tech Lead to design and build enterprise-scale platforms used across large organizations.

Mandatory Requirements

• 12+ years of software engineering experience
• Hands‑on experience in both Java (Spring Boot) and Go
• Proven experience leading the design and development of distributed systems, microservices, and enterprise platforms.
• Strong expertise in Kafka, MongoDB/MariaDB, REST APIs, and system integration
• Experience building self‑service platforms, workflow automation, reporting systems, or storage management solutions
• Exposure to OpenShift/Kubernetes, Jenkins, Grafana, and enterprise observability tools
• Prior experience in Banking or Financial Services environments
• Experience as a Technical Lead driving architecture decisions and mentoring engineers

Preferred

• Object Storage / S3 platform experience
• Enterprise access governance and IAM
• Large‑scale platform development supporting hundreds of applications
• Reporting and data processing platforms using Kafka, Trino/Presto
