Job summary

NTT SINGAPORE PTE. LTD. seeks a Senior Software Engineer / Tech Lead to design and build enterprise-scale platforms used across large organizations. You will lead architecture, build scalable backend systems and APIs, and mentor engineers to improve development practices.

The role demands 12+ years of experience with Java (Spring Boot) and Go, distributed systems and microservices, plus hands-on work with Kafka, databases, REST APIs, and modern observability tools. Banking experience is a plus.

Qualifications

12+ years of software engineering experience.
Hands-on Java (Spring Boot) and Go expertise with distributed systems.
Leadership in design and development of distributed systems and microservices.
Strong Kafka, MongoDB/MariaDB, REST APIs and system integration skills.
Experience building self-service platforms, workflow automation, reporting, or storage management.
Exposure to OpenShift/Kubernetes, Jenkins, Grafana and observability tools.
Prior banking or financial services experience.
Experience as a Technical Lead driving architecture decisions and mentoring engineers.

Responsibilities
