Job summary

V-ELEGANT PTE. LTD. seeks a senior platform engineer to lead end-to-end modernisation of enterprise-grade systems using Golang. You will design scalable backend services and drive data ingestion, processing, and analytics for large-scale time-series workloads.

Collaborate with product, infrastructure, cybersecurity, and business stakeholders to deliver modernisation initiatives while applying AI-assisted tools to improve productivity and quality.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of software engineering experience building enterprise-grade applications.
• Strong proficiency in modern Golang development.
• Deep understanding of time-series data systems, including ingestion, transformation, aggregation, storage, and querying.

Responsibilities

Requirements (Must Have)

• 8+ years of software engineering experience building enterprise-grade applications.
• Strong proficiency in modern Golang development.
• Deep understanding of time-series data systems, including ingestion, transformation, aggregation, storage, and querying including experience in implementing & operating said solutions.
• Strong knowledge of distributed systems, and modern web application architecture.
• Experience with Kafka, event streaming, or real-time data processing platforms.
• Experience designing and building scalable, resilient, and maintainable software systems.
• Practical experience using AI-assisted engineering tools to improve productivity and software quality.

Preferred

• Experience with TimescaleDB or other time-series databases.
• Experience with Azure Cloud and Kubernetes.
• Experience leading application or platform modernisation initiatives.
• Experience in IoT, utilities, energy, or industrial systems
