Job summary

Visa Hunt is seeking Full Stack Engineers to join government-focused product teams in Singapore. You'll collaborate with Quality Engineers, UX Designers, and Product Owners to create digital solutions for public sector users and citizens.

You will help shape architecture, lead design for new features and integrations, and promote best practices while delivering secure, scalable software through Agile processes.

Qualifications

• Degree or Diploma in Computer Science, Electronics Engineering, IT or related.
• Strong software engineering fundamentals and problem solving.
• Experience in architecture, system design, and API integrations.
• Experience leading the technical delivery of software solutions from solution design to implementation.
• Familiarity with cloud-native development and modern engineering practices.

Responsibilities

• Partner with government agencies to build high-quality digital products.
• Collaborate in cross-functional product teams comprising Full Stack Engineers, UX Designers, Product Managers and Product Owners to deliver user-centred solutions.
• Translate business needs into scalable, user-centred technical solutions.
• Lead the architecture and system design for new features and external system integrations by analysing requirements and API/interface specifications, evaluating solution approaches and technical trade-offs.
• Collaborate with Engineering Leads, Infrastructure teams, and other engineering teams to validate solution designs and align on architectural decisions.
• Provide technical leadership throughout implementation by coordinating technical delivery and resolving challenges.
• Develop clean, secure, maintainable, and well-tested code, conduct code reviews, and promote engineering best practices.
• Champion the adoption of modern technologies and tools to improve product quality and delivery.
• Contribute actively to Agile way of working and Scrum ceremonies to ensure continuous improvement.
• Provide operational support by monitoring application health and incidents.
