Job summary

United States Digital Space LLC is seeking an experienced software engineer to help build next‑gen ads platforms at scale. You will own technical strategy for major work streams, collaborate with product and regional teams in APAC, and drive experiments to improve ad serving and bidding models.

The role requires strong backend, frontend, and distributed systems skills, plus Mandarin fluency to coordinate with regional partners and clients in Singapore.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 5 years of experience with developing ads buying platforms, such as campaign automation, optimization, insights and performance diagnosis.
• 3 years of development experience with the company’s ads ecosystem, including targeting, bidding, serving systems, and data analysis tools, across backend, such as Java, Python, Golang, or C++ codebases, and front-end experience including JavaScript or TypeScript, HTML, CSS or equivalent.
• 1 year of experience with architecting and developing large-scale distributed systems or Ads infrastructure.
• Ability to communicate in Mandarin fluently to collaborate with regional partners and clients.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical strategy and outcomes for major work streams like new user acquisition and feed serving optimization, and go beyond immediate projects, impacting teams with engaging priorities to achieve program goals.
• Design and execute experiments to optimize ad serving, bidding models, and retrieval systems.
• Review code developed by other developers and provide feedback to ensure best practices (e.g., style guidelines, checking code in, accuracy, testability, and efficiency).
• Collaborate with cross-functional partners to resolve customer escalations and technical headwinds.
• Guide Generative Artificial Intelligence (GenAI) solutions for asset generation and influence designs across program goals.
