Job summary

JPMorgan Chase & Co. in Singapore seeks a Software Engineer III to join an agile team to design, develop, and deliver secure, scalable technology products for Asset Wealth Management.

You will contribute across the SDLC, build RESTful microservices, and embrace AI-assisted development while maintaining code quality and security. You should bring 3+ years of hands-on Java/Spring experience, strong REST design skills, and familiarity with CI/CD and testing frameworks.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent.
• 3+ years of software engineering experience.
• Experience with Java and Spring/Spring Boot.
• Experience in developing, debugging, and maintaining code in a large corporate environment.
• Experience using AI-assisted software development tools with evaluation of outputs.
• Understanding of secure coding, data handling and security expectations.
• Familiarity with RESTful API design and testing frameworks.
• Knowledge of SDLC and Agile methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Executes software solutions, design, development, and troubleshooting with ability to tackle complex problems.
• Creates secure, high-quality production code and maintains algorithms.
• Uses enterprise AI coding assist tools to improve quality, speed, and productivity with peer review and secure coding standards.
• Applies SDLC tools and AI-assisted development to improve automation value.
• Produces architecture and design artifacts for complex applications and ensures constraints are met.
• Gathers and visualizes data for continuous improvement of software applications.
• Identifies hidden data patterns to drive coding hygiene and architecture improvements.
• Builds and maintains RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.
• Writes and maintains TDD/BDD test cases.
