Job summary

JPMorganChase in Singapore seeks a Software Engineer III to join an agile team to design and deliver trusted technology products in a secure, scalable way. You will build solutions across multiple tech areas supporting the firm’s objectives.

You will create high-quality production code, leverage AI-assisted tools, and contribute to architecture, data visualizations, and continuous improvement of systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field with 3+ years of experience.
• Commercial experience with Java and React.
• Experience designing scalable micro-services using RESTful.
• Knowledge of server-side technologies (Spring Boot, messaging frameworks like ActiveMQ, Kafka, Maven/Gradle, JUnit).
• Knowledge of web technologies (Sass/CSS/HTML/JavaScript/TypeScript/NodeJS ecosystem).
• Experience in development, debugging and automated testing in a commercial setting.
• Solid understanding of CI/CD, Application Resiliency, and Security.

Responsibilities

• Executes software solutions, design, development, and technical troubleshooting with ability to think beyond routine approaches.
• Creates secure production code and maintains algorithms that run with supporting systems.
• Leverages enterprise AI coding assist tools to improve code quality and speed, validated by peer review and tests.
• Applies SDLC tools and automation to improve value.
• Produces architecture and design artifacts for complex applications and ensures constraints are met.
• Gathers and analyzes data to develop visualizations and inform continuous improvement.
• Identifies hidden data patterns to drive improvements in coding hygiene and architecture.
