Job summary

Onto Innovation is seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Engineer to lead software integration automation and performance optimization across metrology platforms in Singapore. The role entails defining software requirements for automation of motion control and calibration to shorten tool build cycles.

You will work with mechanical, electrical, controls, and systems teams to ensure seamless integration, driving technical direction and leading engineering programs.

Qualifications

• BS/MS/PhD in Computer Science or related field.
• 7+ years of experience developing tool software and controlling hardware subsystems.
• Strong C++/C# and OO design skills, with multi-threaded and real-time software experience.
• Experience with subsystem integration and automation.
