Job summary

Onto Innovation is seeking a Contractor - Inventory Analyst 2 in Singapore to coordinate end-to-end freight movements and manage global shipping operations. The role supports compliance, cost control, and shipment visibility across air, ocean, and road transport.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years in freight coordination or logistics, strong ERP experience (SAP/Oracle), and a detail-oriented, problem-solving mindset. This position offers full-time engagement with global logistics exposure.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in freight coordination, shipping, 3PL management or logistics operations.
• Knowledge of domestic and international shipping, Incoterms.
• Experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or similar logistics platforms.
• Strong attention to detail, communication skills, and problem-solving ability.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate end-to-end freight movements across air, ocean, truckload, LTL and intermodal shipments.
• File International Export information through ACE or other applicable customs entity.
• Ensure timely pickup, transit, and delivery by monitoring shipment statuses and troubleshooting delays.
• Prepare and validate shipping documents including invoices, packing lists, and export paperwork.
• Communicate shipment schedules to internal stakeholders and manage carriers/3PLs.
• Monitor aging shipments and coordinate with 3PL for exceptions and root-cause analysis.

Onto Innovation strives to optimize customers’ critical path of progress by making them smarter, faster and more efficient.**Job Summary & Responsibilities**Freight Operations & Execution• Coordinate end-to-end freight movements across air, ocean, truckload, LTL, parcel, and intermodal shipments.• Filing International Export information through ACE or other applicable customs entity• Ensure timely pickup, transit, and delivery by monitoring shipment statuses and troubleshooting exceptions such as delays, damages, and capacity constraints.• Prepare and validate shipping documents including commercial invoices, packing lists, and export paperwork.• Communicate shipment schedules and updates to internal stakeholders.• Serve as the day-to-day contact for freight forwarders, carriers, 3PLs, and customs brokers.• Manage expedites and tracking information of key shipments as needed3PL service depot coordination• Visit 3PL regularly to review all aging parts at 3PL – inbound, outbound, FSE pick up, defective returns, etc.• Identify root cause of aging – IT issue, 3PL training, pending FSE action, etc.• Publish the list to local managementCost & Spend Support• Help monitor freight spend, identify discrepancies, and support cost-saving opportunities such as consolidation and mode optimization.• Maintain accurate shipping cost records and support freight invoice auditing.Compliance & Risk Management• Ensure shipments comply with international trade regulations, customs documentation requirements, and Incoterms.• Support preparation of documentation for audits, customs entries, and compliance checks.• Assist with escalation management during supply disruptions.
