Onto Innovation in Singapore is seeking a Field Service Engineer III to install, repair and maintain Metrology and Inspection tools across the Southeast Asia region. You will install new tools, respond to down tool situations, and provide documentation to customers and our US factory.

Travel ~60% and collaboration with sales to identify opportunities are expected. This role requires an engineering degree and 3–5 years of semiconductor field service experience, plus strong communication skills

• 3–5 years of field service experience in the semiconductor industry.
• Experience with equipment fault detection in electrical, mechanical, and software domains.
• College/university degree in engineering.
• Excellent interpersonal and customer communication skills.
• Willingness to travel regularly across Southeast Asia, ~60%.

Completing both Engineering and Applications tasks.* Respond to down tool situations within Southeast Asia and requests for Maintenance when required.* Provide correct documentation requested and feedback to the US factory as needed.* Provide feedback to sales team as required. Helping provide possible leads for future sales.* Providing Applications feedback in order to look at constant product improvement.**Qualifications*** Preferred 3 to 5 years Field Service experience in the Semiconductor Business* Previous knowledge of equipment fault detection.
