Job summary

yunan pte. ltd. is seeking a Site Manager in Singapore to lead construction activities, interpret drawings, and supervise structural and architectural works on site.

The role requires strong hands-on experience in tile laying, bricklaying, plastering, welding, and aluminium panel & glass installation. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering and at least 8 years of relevant construction experience, with excellent communication and leadership

Qualifications

• Minimum Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering or equivalent qualification.
• Strong on-site construction and finishing trades knowledge is essential.
• Experience supervising structural and architectural works on site.

Responsibilities

• Manage construction activities and site progress independently to ensure timely project delivery.
• Interpret and apply structural drawings, specifications, and project requirements accurately in daily operations.
• Supervise structural and architectural works while coordinating effectively with client representatives.
• Lead and direct site workers and subcontractors to execute on-site tasks according to project plans.
• Demonstrate and enforce proper workmanship techniques and quality standards for tile laying, bricklaying, plastering, welding, and installation of aluminium panels and glass.
• Identify and resolve on-site design and construction issues promptly to maintain workflow continuity.
• Enforce compliance with specified quality standards across all work performed.
• Implement and adhere to the work plan issued by the Project Manager to align site activities with project goals.
• Prepare daily progress reports and update work schedules to track and communicate project status.
• Oversee on-site quality control and ensure occupational health and safety compliance.
• Participate actively in project coordination and progress meetings to align with stakeholders.
• Perform other ad-hoc duties relevant to the Site Manager role as required.
