Job summary

Hrnet Technologies in Singapore is seeking a Senior Payroll Specialist to manage end-to-end payroll for a portfolio of clients. You will ensure accurate and timely processing, respond to payroll queries, and resolve discrepancies while maintaining compliance with local statutory requirements.

The ideal candidate is independent, detail-oriented and able to handle multiple deadlines, with strong Excel skills and experience with payroll systems.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of full-cycle payroll processing experience for Singapore entities.
• Good knowledge of Singapore payroll practices and statutory requirements.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and take ownership of clients.
• Strong attention to detail and analytical problem-solving to resolve discrepancies.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with clients and employees.
• Proficient in Excel and comfortable with payroll software.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end payroll processing for a portfolio of Singapore-based clients, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Process monthly payroll inputs including salaries, allowances, overtime, deductions, leave, benefits and other adjustments.
• Respond to client and employee payroll queries and resolve discrepancies independently where possible.
• Perform payroll checks, reconciliations and variance analyses before payroll finalisation.
• Ensure compliance with Singapore employment and statutory requirements for payroll processing and submissions.
• Prepare payroll reports and maintain accurate payroll records for clients.
• Manage multiple deadlines independently and support time-sensitive payroll matters as needed.
