GRACE HR SOLUTIONS is seeking a Payroll Supervisor to oversee accurate, timely payroll processing for multiple client accounts in Singapore. You will supervise Payroll Executives, ensure CPF contributions and statutory deductions are met, and maintain confidential payroll information.

The role requires 3–5 years of payroll experience, preferably in an outsourced environment, with strong Excel skills and attention to detail.

Job description

Job Purpose

The Payroll Supervisor is responsible for supervising the accurate and timely processing of payroll for multiple client accounts. The role oversees payroll executives, ensures compliance with Singapore statutory requirements, manages client queries, and maintains confidentiality and accuracy of payroll information.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise end-to-end monthly payroll processing for multiple client companies.
  • Review payroll calculations, including salaries, overtime, allowances, commissions, bonuses, deductions, reimbursements and final payments.
  • Check payroll prepared by Payroll Executives before submission to clients for approval.
  • Ensure timely and accurate CPF contributions , statutory deductions and other payroll-related submissions.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant Singapore employment, tax and payroll requirements.
  • Manage employee joiners, resignations, terminations, salary adjustments and other payroll changes.
  • Coordinate with clients to obtain payroll instructions, attendance records and supporting documents before payroll cut-off dates.
  • Handle client payroll enquiries and resolve discrepancies promptly.
  • Supervise and guide Payroll Executives/Payroll Officers and allocate client portfolios according to workload.
  • Establish payroll checking procedures and ensure proper maker‑checker controls.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality and protection of employees' personal and salary information.
  • Ensure payroll records and supporting documents are properly maintained for audit purposes.
  • Support annual income reporting and other statutory payroll exercises.
  • Monitor payroll deadlines across all assigned client accounts and escalation potential delays or errors.
  • Assist with payroll system implementation, process improvement and automation.
  • Prepare payroll reports and management reports when required.
  • Liaise with clients, HR teams, finance departments and relevant authorities on payroll matters.
Requirements

Diploma/Degree in Human Resources, Business, Accounting or a related discipline, with approximately 3-5 years of payroll experience and preferably some supervisory experience.

Experience in an outsourced payroll environment managing multiple client accounts would be highly advantageous. The candidate should have strong knowledge of Singapore payroll practices, CPF and employment-related requirements, good Excel skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work under tight monthly deadlines.
