Job summary

Staffhub Group in Singapore is seeking a Senior Service Engineer (Manufacturing) to repair, service, and install machinery across a manufacturing site. You will plan servicing work, supervise teams, and ensure minimal downtime while keeping detailed service reports.

The role requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent communication, and experience in project management, with a focus on safety and stock control for spare parts.

Qualifications

• Experience in man management, leadership and good communication skills with staff and clientalcustomers/suppliers
• Strong understanding of formal project management methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Repair and service all machinery and equipment in the manufacturing unit.
• Plan servicing work in advance to minimize factory downtime.

• Prepare detailed reports on all work performed on each machine.
• Ensure replacement parts are available in stock.
• Work on improving machine performance and efficiency.

Service engineers have to repair and service all the machinery and equipment present in a company's manufacturing unit

Plan the servicing work in advance so the output of the factory is not affected by the service work

Work in teams and delegate work amongst them so the work can be conducted in a fast pace

Make detailed reports on all the work that is done on each machine

Ensure that any parts that need replacing are available in stock

Work on improving the performance of the machine

Conduct safety checks on all the machines or it could prove to be dangerous for the workers working on them

Keep an inventory of equipment required for the repair work

Responsible for the installation, commissioning maintenance and servicing of equipment.

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

Excellent product knowledge .

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal in order to relay the problem solution to customers and management.
