Job summary

Staffhub Group is seeking a technically skilled technician based in Singapore to service and install equipment, including high vacuum systems and PLC-controlled hardware. You will work with clients to assess needs, perform maintenance, and coordinate installation projects.

The role requires a diploma or NiTEC certificate in mechatronics/electromechanical, plus hands-on problem-solving ability and attention to detail. A Class 3/2 license is preferred and independent work is expected.

Qualifications

• Diploma or cert in mechatronics or related field required.
• Experience with high vacuum systems and heat treatment furnaces is preferred.
• Strong problem-solving skills and hands-on technical aptitude.

Responsibilities

• Perform servicing and maintenance of equipment and systems, and installation.
• Collect and monitor performance indices and schedule preventive maintenance with customers.
• Liaise with customers to meet their requirements and promote products/services.
• Visit establishments to evaluate needs or promote products/services.
• Prepare sales contracts and submit orders for processing.
• Coordinate installation projects and provide training.
• Plan deadlines and manage tasks accordingly; participate in on-call duty.
• Identify and resolve technical issues; ensure meticulous execution.

Performs servicing and maintenance of equipment and system, installation

Collects and monitors customer equipment performance indices and performs schedules

preventive maintenance (PM) with customer when required

Liaises with customer directly for their requirements

Visit establishments to evaluate needs or to promote product or service sales.

Prepare sales contracts for orders obtained, and submit orders for processing.

Project coordination for installation and training.

Plans and proposes project deadlines and carries out the tasks accordingly

Perform on-call and standby duty as required

Initiative to identify and resolve technical issues

Team player & meticulous and attention in details

Positive attitude in customer servicing

Requirements:

Candidate must possess at least a Professional Certificate/NiTEC, Diploma,

(Mechatronic/Electromechanical) or equivalent.

Class 3 driving licence or Class 2 driving licence.

Experience in setting up and servicing of high vacuum systems, heat treatment furnaces as well

as PLC control system

Highly independent individual with excellent problem-solving skills.

Hands-on individual with competency in both electronics, electrical systems and mechanical
